Once there was a girl, in love with the moon. She loved his craters, his glow, and his form—full or not. She loved that, without fail, he shone every night. She believed in his every move, his every promise, his every affectionate whisper. To him, she stayed true.
But on the darkest of nights, his whisperings were lost amid chaos. the moon was nowhere to be seen, and she was left alone in deafening silence.
With the one she wanted absent, too far away from her to care for her, she slowly made her way back to Misery, and the lifeless existence he offered to her, until she came across a lake. Her breath was taken away, stolen, like the lake who’d stolen her heart’s desire.
The moon hung low in the sky, bigger and brighter than she’d ever seen him before. His beams of light caressed the ripples of shivers down the lake’s body, encasing the livened waters in his moonlit magnificence. It was Serenity personified, watching the two. A love affair, between the lake and the moon."
That’s all it comes down to. Either I’m the girl you choose or keep it moving. #choices #loyalty #love
"When I grew up I saw all my friends with boyfriends and girlfriends and I never had that. I saw them kissing on busses, hugging on trains, and laughing by the river in summer. I used to get ditched all the time, and I used to get so angry with my friends for leaving me behind. I used to be so lonely and wonder why. What kind of friends would ditch their friends for a boyfriend/ girlfriend? Well, I don’t particularly know why to this day, as I don’t mean to sound up myself; but I was a damn good friend. But I can understand to some extent, because I’d do it. Here’s the thing though, my friends are few and varied. I can count them all on my right hand; one including my boyfriend. My boyfriend isn’t just my boyfriend, he’s not someone I like kissing and being romantic with; he’s my best friend. I can trust him with my whole heart and put it in his palm. He does not crush it. He is always there when I need him, when I’m upset, when I’m happy. He wants to be with me despite knowing the things I have and own. He looks beyond the rainbow. He sees gold from within. So that’s why I can understand why some people would ditch their friends for their partners - because maybe, just maybe; their partners are so much more loyal and dependable than their friends."
